Datto RMM cost per endpoint per month

Datto does not publish a per-endpoint rate for Datto RMM, and pricing is set in a quote. Datto markets an all-inclusive model. Core RMM features are not split into per-module add-ons, so the per-endpoint number is closer to the all-in cost than it is with Kaseya VSA or ConnectWise RMM.

How the billing model changed in December 2025

Datto moved off high-watermark billing starting with December 2025 invoices to a committed-minimum-plus-consumption model. Under the old high-watermark approach, you were charged for the peak device count in a period even after removing devices. The new model sets a committed minimum and bills consumption above it, which helps MSPs with seasonal or churning fleets.

What is included and what is billed separately

The RMM feature set, covering monitoring, patching, automation, and remote access, is bundled. The main separate line is Datto BCDR, the backup and continuity hardware and software Datto is known for. RMM integrates natively with it, and it is purchased separately. If backup is a requirement, include BCDR in the total alongside the per-endpoint RMM rate.

Datto RMM and Kaseya

Since the 2022 acquisition, Datto RMM and Kaseya VSA have coexisted as separate products under one owner, with gradual convergence of back-end systems and billing practices.
