ET Ducky changelog, November 5, 2026
These changes cover a device lookup for PSA tickets, address limits on API tokens, live updates on the Tickets page, the Agents page, and the remote desktop viewer. Items marked with an agent version reach a machine when it runs that release or a later one.
New
- The public API and the MCP server can look up a device by the name a PSA ticket holds. The answer has the device's online state, its latest health sample, its newest active alerts, and links that open a Live Session or remote control. Nothing starts from a link until you sign in and select Live Session or Remote control in the dialog it opens (see Public API and MCP Server).
- When you create an organization API token, you can limit it to up to 20 IPv4 or IPv6 addresses or CIDR ranges. The token is then refused from any other address (see Public API and MCP Server).
Improved
- The Tickets page updates when a ticket is created or changed, without a reload. An open ticket reloads its notes. The list doesn't refresh while you are using a status or assignee control (see Integrations and Tickets).
- When someone signs in during a remote control session on the Windows sign-in screen, the page applies your Quality choice and shows the primary display of the user's desktop (see Remote Desktop).
- After a remote desktop reconnect, the remote machine sends its last picture again without restarting its screen capture. Choosing the displays already shown in the display picker keeps the picture as it is. This needs agent 2.8.5.3.
Fixed
- Managed agents that also have the out-of-band gateway role are listed on the Agents page with a Gateway badge. They were missing from the Agents page while Reports and Fleet Overview listed them (see Out-of-Band Management).
- The display buttons in the remote desktop viewer are numbered from 1 with no gaps. Hovering over a button shows the Windows display name.
- On a phone, Fit in the remote desktop viewer shows the whole screen again. When you zoom in, the view follows the cursor.
- Switching the active organization moves the Tickets page and detections to the new organization's live updates. Before, the Tickets page and detections stayed on the previous organization until the page was reloaded.
